Questions, answered straight.

The ones worth asking before you let any app near your health.

Your care & safety
Is Wubs medical advice? Does it diagnose or prescribe?

No. Wubs is a health & wellness coach, not a medical provider. It doesn't diagnose conditions and it doesn't prescribe treatment. It helps you act on the plan your own clinicians have set, and it stays anchored in health and wellness. Anything that needs a diagnosis or a prescription belongs with your care team.

Does Wubs replace my doctor?

Just the opposite. Wubs coaches toward the goals your doctor already set — the ones in your after-visit summary and care plan — and helps you walk into your next visit better prepared. It's built to align with your clinicians, never to work around them.

What happens if something seems urgent or like an emergency?

Wubs doesn't try to triage emergencies. If something looks acute, it steps out of coaching and points you toward real help rather than "coaching" you through a red flag. If you think you're having a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) right away.

How does Wubs know what's safe to suggest?

It works from your actual clinical context — your conditions, medications, allergies, and the goals your care team set — and stays inside health-and-wellness coaching with guardrails that disengage from anything unsafe. It won't steer you toward something that conflicts with your medications or your diagnoses.

Your data & privacy
What can Wubs actually see?

Only what you give it: records you connect, documents you upload or photograph, wearable data you link, and what you tell it in chat. Every source is listed in the app, and you can remove any of it whenever you like.

How does Wubs get my medical records?

You connect them yourself, through your own patient-portal login — the same secure sign-in you already use. Wubs never sees your portal password, and a connection only ever happens because you started it.

Can Wubs change anything in my medical record?

No. Access is read-only. Wubs can read the copy you choose to share; it can never write to, change, or send anything into your hospital's chart. If you want your care team to see a summary, you review it and send it yourself.

Who can read my health data? Can Wubs employees see it?

Your data is encrypted under a key unique to you, and our systems can't query or pool health data across users. There's no master key for an employee — or an intruder — to browse everyone's records. Your information stays scoped to you.

Do you sell my data or use it to train AI?

No, and no. We don't sell your data, and we don't train models on your records or your conversations.

Can I delete my data or disconnect?

Yes — anytime. You can disconnect any source, delete specific information, or remove everything.

Is my information shared with my employer, insurer, or health system?

No. Nothing goes to anyone unless you choose to send it. When Wubs helps you prepare a summary for a visit, you review it, edit it, and decide whether to share it.

Do I have to connect my records to use Wubs?

No. You get value on day one with nothing connected — just tell Wubs what's going on, photograph a document, or upload a PDF. Connecting your records makes the coaching sharper, but it's never required.

Devices & availability
Is there an iPhone app?

Coming soon. Wubs is launching on Android first, with iOS on the way.

Which wearables and health data work?

On Android, Wubs connects through Health Connect, so data from many popular apps and devices can flow in — and you choose exactly what's shared.
